Today meet…Giulia Scaglioni

“Creating a bridge not only between languages, but also between different cultures and mentalities, by leaving (and getting others to leave) one’s comfort zone”: that’s how Giulia Scaglioni sums up her job.

An interpreter and project manager at STUDIOTRE since 2012, she likes travelling, gardening, hiking in the mountains, and also sampling different kinds of coffee.

A great fan of the motto, “Learn your art and then set it aside” and of Forrest Gump, a lover of the art of Giotto and of Caravaggio, and of the statues at Villa Borghese created by Gian Lorenzo Bernini, Giulia has recently discovered Nordic crime stories, even though she’s still crazy about Italo Calvino, Philip Roth and Alice Munro.
